My Tag Plate On My Gmc

I been thinkin about puttin SuperCam on mine, but something bothers me about it. I was a fan before Cam. Im a fan of his because of the jersey he wears, not vice versa. So now Im leanin towards '1995 BC'...

Prol'ly gonna get blasted over this, but I was talkin about it with a buddy of mine. He remarked that I dont want to be all on the Cam hype because I think it would somehow hurt my credibility as a Panther fan. He is kind of right.. I dont want a Cam jersey now, I do want a Keuchly though. Its just the way it is..

Its ok to show some love to Cam. I've been a Panther since the beginning too and we all know the franchise has never looked as promising as it does now. Even the 2003 run didn't feel like this before the season started. I think the closest we've been to this type of excitement was 2008. Nobody can say they had as much confidence in our offense before as they do now with a straight face. I know Chud plays a big part in the turnaround, but Cam is what makes the wheels turn. It s funny hearing people feel ashamed to give him his credit. How many Colts fans or Patriots fans feel bad for mentioning Manning or Brady without the rest of the team? He does play at the most important position on the team. How does buying a rookie LB Kuechly jersey make more sense than buying your franchise QB's?

I get that nc, and youre absolutely right. Its hard to explain.. I do show Cam love, been wearin the shirt below for weeks. Im just more for the team than the man. You said its funny to hear people feel ashamed to give him his credit., so Im not the first person youve heard this from? Makes me feel better.. Im not denying Cameron any credit, I appreciate what he has done, even more so appreciate the potential of what he can do. Ive never been more excited to be a fan, cant wait to see whats next. Let Cam sign his extension & I'll get his jersey then, maybe his SB MVP jersey if it happens sooner...

To answer your question, Im particular about my jerseys, I dont want the same you see everywhere. I never owned a Peppers, my 2 Smith's are the '05 ProBowl & the Storm jersey, got D.Will's his rookie year and my son sports a Stewart. I thought Id jump on the Keuchly bandwagon now, only reason I dont have it already is Panthers Shop hasnt put them up yet...

I understand. I have a Pep and S.Davis jersey from way back, but I not getting a Cam jersey until I get a #89. I know there are a small amount of guys that came to this site and are new Panther fans because we drafted Cam and I'm not mad at them. I've been waiting for a Qb like Cam since Jake started chucking up INTs every other possession. I like the Cam bandwagoners better than the haters that pretend to like him so their fanhood won't be stripped. They're the ones always complaining about the amount of threads and comments about him.

Very cool. Worst part about not living in SC right now is I can't really get Panthers plates - but I guess I can do the vanity thing.

What do you mean? SC has a Panther license tag. I have one on my truck. Here is a link to it www.scdmvonline.com/DMVNew/PlateGallery.aspx?q=Sports

Edit: sorry, I just saw that you are NOT living in SC. Misrread first time.

I have several authentics, even an authentic #79 Otah. I will get a Cam a few years down the road. I'm fine with the Cam bandwagoners. The more fans wearing Panther colors the better. BofA stadium needs them badly.

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
