Rudy Gay?

Just read that the grizzlies are not interested in trading Rudy Gay right now, but i have just read the Kings are not gonna extend Evans and are looking to trade him. Trade the number 2 pick for for the number 5 and Evans and maybe another pick/player doesnt sound like a bad deal. We could still get Robinson or Beal/Barnes at that spot.

Take no offense to that if you are gay/lesbian I just don't know if I could keep a straight face every game.

Sh it. If we could get that , I'm down as ***.

Evans is a beast.

At 5, Beal, Drummond, or Barnes could be there.

of course the grizz will say they are not interested in moving gay, thats why there 5 teams are rumored in trade talks for him? its a game, if everyone knows you want to move him the price goes down....

i think the tyreke evans and 5 for #2 is way too much for them to give up... no way we get that deal

Also, the Bobcats need to quit giving out dumb ass contracts. We got screwed with Emeka Okafor but we were able to trade him, but then we go right around and give TNT a huge contract. So stupid.

They also need to quit trading for huge contracts, i.e. Giop, Maggette.

This is one reason I am nervous about the Gay trade. However, I believe he would be a 20 point per game guy with Charlotte so I could probably be okay with us trading for Gay as long as the Grizzlies take Diop along with the 2nd pick and also give us their 25th pick and we can take Jeffery Taylor with the 25th pick and Tony Wroten with our 2nd round pick then sign Kamen, Mahinmi, Dooling, and Jamison.

PG- Kemba Walker, Tony Wroten, Keyon Dooling

SG- Gerald Henderson, Reggie Williams, Matt Carroll

SF- Rudy Gay, Jeffery Taylor, Derrick Brown

PF- Antawn Jamison, Bismack Biyombo, Tyrus Thomas

C- Chris Kamen, Byron Mullens, Ian Mahinmi

This team could win a few more games than last years lol

    • Right and I think we can have a conversation about that. But even with the scheme he should still be able to muster more than 1.5 sacks right? I mean DJ Johnson played in Evero's scheme too but that didn't stop us from calling him a bust. Scourton didn't seem to have trouble flashing. There can be different things true at one time.
    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
