When you are a notorious flopper and you flop in that situation, it is going to be called. The referees are not a joke for that. Tell the floppers to stop flopping.

I don't see why people are complaining about the referees anyway. First of all, this is the NBA. Sorry but if you don't expect some bad calls in the NBA, then you are a fool. I'm not saying it SHOULD happen but it is to be expected - deal with it or just give up on it. Second, did you guys see the Thunder in the fourth quarter? They looked pathetic. They didn't deserve to win.

Finally, King Taharqa, while I agree with you that the James hate is unwarranted. You egging them on and being as cocky as you are in your recent posts as well as unfairly trashing Durant isn't helping the matter. Just giving them a stereotype (fair or not fair, accurate or not accurate) in their mind of what 'Bron fans are.

Unfairly trashing Durant?!?!? How could anyone ever do that!!??!! He is so good!! He never does anything wrong!!! It's not his fault the Thunder lost!!! It's his teammates fault!!!

(Sorry for the sarcasm, I'm not trying to be an a**hole)

My argument is that when Lebron was in Cleveland and the TEAM always fell short, LBJ got all the blame. He became a choke artist. He can't close games. He can't come up in the clutch. But now we see the complete opposite with Durant. When the Thunder lose, no one points to Durant. All the blame is put on his team. For example, in the series against the Spurs, Durant was straight up awful in the 4th quarter of games 1 and 2. But all I heard was talk about how Westbrook is a moron and is blowing the games for them. No mention of KD going silent. Another example of my point, KD hit a 3 in game 2 of this series (didn't even tie the game, just got them within 2 points) and everyone got on their knees for him (even though they still lost the game, people continued to praised him for this unbelievable clutch 3 pointer). Rewind to the ECF, Lebron hits a 3 to tie the game and go into overtime. The Heat went on to lose the game. Afterwards everyone was talking about how they need to break up the big 3 and that the Heat were done.

Do I need to give more examples?

Bottom line, the hate for LBJ and overwhelming love for KD are absolutely annoying. ESPN shows replays of KD hugging his mom every 5 seconds like he is the only player to ever do that (he's such a good guy!!!!!).

I have no hate for KD. I just hate the contradicting favoritism he receives. I think he is the second best player in the league and could one day become the best player. He is only 23 (or 22?) years old. He has plenty of time to develop his defensive game and make a presence on both ends of the court. But as of right now, it's not even close. LBJ is the better player. Hands down. I understand why people hate Lebron (though I think it can be a little ridiculous) but people let that hate create blind ignorance.

I agree with your post 100% Tyler. Whenever the Thunder come up short, people immediately point the finger at Westbrook, and they never challenge KD to get better. We've seen the opposite with LeBron his whole career. He's always had the finger pointed at him when his team came up short. Glad Im not the only one who sees the double standard between the two star players.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
