That really is awesome! He did deserve hos own post. My son turned 17 months old today, I can't wait for my Lil Man to do stuff like that. What school is he going to in Shelby? He looks a little older than my 7 yr old nephew that goes to James Love Elementary. He's been playing softball, I was just there for his last game this passed Thursday (not yesterday)

Anyways, best of luck to you and your family... After all nothing is better or comes before our families... Not even our beloved Panthers.

That's awesome, and I'm glad you shared the story. My son turns three this month and I hope he will one day possess the same qualities as your little man. Until then - I will roll those dice and not buy a new Cam jersey for myself in the hopes that he will. lol

Also, thanks for the feedback on your son's favorite posters. I will now be stepping my game up.

I always thought kids hated me. Your son has now confirmed it. Thank you.

I will get around to why I am giving out pie and liking everything but I swear to God I laughed for about a full two minutes when I read this. I envisioned Ray Romano deadpanning it.

Very, very cool.

You have a great son and that is a testament to being a great dad. You taught him well...and he learned it well.

Tell him Well Done.

Plan on doing that exact thing tomorrow in the morning. I am trying to give out "likes" and "pie" to every single poster to make sure he knows #1 how cool I thought this was and #2 how cool you guys thought it was. I was FLOORED today when I logged in and saw all of this.

I like that white hat.

That's my favorite but that sucker is going to get dirty quick. I have been known to partake in that which is known as Copenhagen and I have never washed my hands so much when I wear that white hat.

I should quit.

Cope, not wearing the hat.

TCF,

Congrats on your boy turning 17 months. Push him down every once in a while when the old lady isn't looking...it makes them tough later on. :)

He will start Burns Middle in a couple of months, the picture is 2 years old when my boss gave me Sec 133 Row 4 Seats 11 and 12. He has seats 11 thru 14 down there and I get them maybe twice a year.

My son knows exactly who you are because I told him me and you did/do the same job in the military. He will get a kick out of you complimenting him.

He always asks me, is that that guy's avatar, or is it his real picture. He is convinced that yours is you. :)

I'm one of your sons favorite posters?

Wow that's pretty cool, why?

Because you had my back one time. And you know where Azusa is. He asks me a lot about my childhood and he thinks someone living near where I used to live and that far away from Carolina being a Carolina fan is great. Asked me one day if I thought that Bwood got into fights out there in Cali for being a Panther fan. I told him that you were prolly OK. :)

That year he averaged 94 yards a game. Steven Davis missed 2 games 2003 so he comes in at the most yards per game in a season at 103 yards. Mccaffrey averaged 86 yards a game in his 2019 campaign he also recorded 1005 yards receiving making his season statistically the best in Panthers history for a RB, had the Panthers had a better record he could have been a favorite for MVP. Dowdle currently is averaging 81 yards a game despite only starting 3 games thus far. In the games he has started 206, 183, 130 he's averaging 173 yards. In Green Bay he rushed for 130 despite having a 21 yard run wiped out due to illegal procedure penalty that could of saw a 150 yard day.    Top 5 yards per carry. Dowdle 5:6 (2025) Williams: 5.5 (2008) Stewart: 5.1 (2009) Mccaffrey: 4.8 (2019) Hubbard: 4.7 (2024) If Dowdle continues even close to the pace he's on he's poised to break DeAngelo Williams single season Panther rushing record.
    • The BY9 situation is classic sunk cost fallacy. We traded premium assets to get him. Every few games he flashes the traits that made him appealing (quick reads, touch, composure) but the macro picture doesnt lie. Hes producing at a bottom-tier level across efficiency metrics in yards per attempt, EPA/play, completion percentage over expected, and explosive plays. Instead of objectively reassessing, the organization continues to justify the investment - new coaches, new systems, new excuses - trying to salvage what was invested. Giving him a 5th year is a self inflicted would.  We need to take our lumps and move on
