Just Played NCAA 13 The Full Game

I have played the demo and noticed definate changes in the passing game (much welcomed changes)..though the presentations, animations, graphics are all pretty much the same as 2012..(though tiger stadium looks more accurate than any previous version). I feel that the ratings are a little off every year but I typcially download a named/adjusted roster off of operation sports..that goes through and changes all the numbers, gear, faces, etc and adds the correct names and tweaks the obvious ratings flaws.

What sold me on this years version is the new dynasty recruiting system. I have read all about it and read some early reviews about it and it seems to be awesome. Since I typically play an online dynasty with others..the improved recruiting seems to be the selling point for us..couple that with downloaded rosters..a tweaked passing game and the absence of super DB's and LB's..I am relatively excited for this year's game.

IMO..mind you I have not played the full version yet, only the demo. hope this helps.

Part of the reason player ratings will never be accurate is lack of license to use college players likeness. EA and NCAA even were sued by former collegiate players. Link

Judge dismissed EA from the lawsuit but NCAA is still being sued I believe. If EA makes the player ratings accurate, college players have more of a case.

I looked at it sort of the dynasty I mean .. it still isn't enough of a change for me personally.

As for EA using that as a scapegoat to not rate people accorindgly that's bull poo and a horrible excuse .. their names arn't there and they can just make em look weird it's not that difficult. They can rate players and it not change a thing. I usually do the operation sports thing as well but I don't think I or anyone else should have to. The people that rate those rosters by themselves do more work than any one person from the team from ea that works on the whole effing game .. FACT.

It is a convient excuse but it's still a problem. Take your example of a scrambling QB being a pocket passer on the game. Even if they change his race, age, and height a player could claim EA is unlawfully using his likeness as well as other players by having accurate ratings for the player and others. It's a stretch but people have sued for less these days.

I avoid the issue by just not buying the game.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
