Beason expects to be running with the ones in traing camp

Not what this thread is about. Running with the ones at training camp and playing this season at his previous level are completely different things.

I posted that article yesterday. And he expect to be ready by the season start. Of course no one is 100% ready for the season at the beginning of camp, they are 100% fully recovered and ready for camp. That is the point of camp, to get ready for the season.

Once again you miss the point. If he runs with the ones and isn't 100% then he would be a liability. Running with the 1s and not being fully recovered would hardly be news or thread worthy. I am sure that those who are expecting him to be starting in camp are also expecting him to be fully recovered.

So you believe every player who starts in camp is 100% good for you. I don't.

Once again you miss the point. The thread was about whether or not he is fully recovered and ready for camp. It isn't about every player being ready for camp or at 100%. Of course not every player is 100% at the beginning of camp and most everybody is not ready for the season which is the point of camp.

At this point, as I said a page ago, the question is whether he is 100% recovered or not. I have my doubts but hope I am wrong.

Somehow you have morphed this thread into a ridiculous discussion.

“I was slow,” Ryans said about the start to his 2011 season. “[The Achilles] slowed me down a little bit in the beginning, but as the season went on, it continued to get better. Toward the end of the season, I was moving around like myself again.”

So why did DeMeco Ryans start training camp and last season when he wasn't 100% recovered?

No you are missing the point. Being fully recovered and being ready for camp are different things IMO. You believe Beason starting means he is 100% recovered, I don't. We disagree, you aren't changing your opinion and I'm not changing mine. It's that simple.

Are you really that stupid?? Who said he was 100% recovered or even that Beason will be. The point of camp is to see where every player is at and give them a chance to get to 100%. Once again you seem to going off a ledge with one thought process and trying to argue a point that I never said. Once again Beason running with the ones and not being 100% recovered means he is not ready for all elements of camp and he will be eased back in. If he is fully recovered then he will do everything and pick up where he left off. Or what is likely is that he will be somewhere between 80 and 90% and will participate in many drills but get some rest and time off while he continues to recover.

Don't put words in my mouth, I know what I mean. If he is fully recovered then he will be 100% in camp. If he is not 100% then he won't be fully recovered in camp and will have to take time to get there. There is no opinion to have here. I don't understand why you keep arguing what appears to be a stupid point. But have at it, but don't expect me to keep going round in circles with this convoluted argument.

I wasn't arguing anything. Thread was made saying Beason expects to run with first team at camp and I asked when was this a question. You are the dumbass who started arguing.

    • So he became GM and decided not to address the weakness in the QB room following one of the worst rookie QB performances in NFL history?  There were options last season other than signing Dalton to a 2 year deal. Brissett and Jones by a wide margin, both of whom outplayed Bryce, Wilson, Winston, hell even Rivers off the couch was more exciting at the QB position. The time to address the failure in the QB room was last year but instead people on the Huddle cheered when we brought Dalton back then cheered when we were able to get anything for him after they finally realized he was washed up like a few of had been saying all along and got poo'd for even mentioning.  This year, the options were more limited obviously, especially since we lost Icky. It changed the dynamic of our draft. I think we were stuck this year keeping Bryce, but i still think giving him a 5th year option for what has amounted to replacement worthy performance was the wrong move. Why guarantee 25m if you're planning to replace him? You think he's going to want to be a bridge QB? Hell no. He's going to want out and we'll end up cutting him if he has another lackluster season because no one is trading for him with that price tag.  Were there better options as far as production available. A couple. Were there guys available with more physical tools than Bryce, Pickett or Grier, you damn well better believe there were. I've been saying all along, you always keep looking for your 1b. Bryce has yet to prove he can be a starter. Keep looking for someone who may. Put competition in camp. Let the best QB lead the team. Stop settling for less than mediocre.
    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
