Kidd-Gilchrist to wear #14

Recommended Posts

I'll get an authentic navy one to add to my collection....

2 Miami Heat LeBron James (home & away)

2 Chicago Bulls Michael Jordan (home & away)

1 OKC Russell Westbrook (away)

1 Charlotte Hornets B. Davis (home)

LOL. Dude rags us for liking the Charlotte Hornets rebrand and the clown doesn't even have a bobcats jersey. You do have the Hornets, though. hypocrite.

I bet you wear these jerseys out in public, too.

I also own an orange Okafor and white Felton if it means that much to you in our original style jerseys. But since we changed jersey styles havent worn them. Never got a GW or Jax one in our last style even though I wanted one. The B. Davis is a custom I just had made a few weeks ago (who else you know got an authentic one?). I only wear my jerseys to games or when Im working out. You're right MrTD, I know more and been to more Hornets games in my life than you. Thats why I know your little movement was bullshit.

1. Nah bro there's no way you've been to more Hornets games than I.

2. Only ghetto people wear NBA jerseys out in public. And by "working out" do you mean when you are walking to the bus stop?

I agree. Thats why despite confused "fans" like MrTD, everyone should go buy that #14 Kidd-Gilchrist jersey. I think this young man is gonna be very special for us. And will be the fruit that sprung from the forgettable 2011-12 season. Buy one for mom, buy one for dad, buy one for the kids, buy one for the dog.

No Larry Bird jersey?

:D

I would wear a Bird jersey but dont have one. I have a lot of respect for him as a player and feel like he's the guy LeBron is chasing as 1 of the best SFs of all time. Next jersey I get outside of the Bobcats will be a old school Sonics. Possibly Payton or Kemp. Sonics had a great franchise with a lot of great players.

    • Thielen was a "dawg" like Dan Morgan likes to say. And they replaced him with puppies.  The analytics are probably saying this is more targets for younger receivers they are hoping to develop, specifically the first round pick from 2025. The eye test is going to show a very inexperienced group of WRs that are going to have some serious growing pains, for a 3rd year QB who has not yet proven to be the guy going forward.  It's crazy how in the literal first game of his NFL career, Cam Newton showed everyone he was a star QB and there was never any doubt about that. It almost didn't even matter who was around him, although he definitely had a serious lack of talent at WR for most of his career. Bryce is going into his third season and there is still a ton of doubt, and who is around him is seen as crucial for him to have success. I don't like it.
    • Everyone says AT was old and slow but the one thing he could do consistently was get separation. That takes skill and it's been a huge issue in our WR for years. And while Moore may be a great locker room guy and our WR coach may be a 12 year vet, he's not playing in the game. Vets like AT do what they do because they can see things others don't and exploit it. The DB interview I mentioned before was with Stephon Gilmore after his DPOY season. He was pulling the younger DBs aside showing them things you wouldn't even think you'd be able to tell from the way the receiver was standing.  Seeing what a DB or LB is biting on in game that can give you that half step advantage is huge and we don't have that experience in our WR group right now and I think it could end up hurting us. None of our receivers have lined up against NFL corners successfully on a regular basis. Having someone that can walk over and give you a tip to get a half yard separation can be a difference maker.
