DirecTV and NFL Sunday Ticket/Sunday Ticket Max

I was on Google+ the other day and mentioned to DirecTV's Page that I would like to have NFL Sunday Ticket Max but I didn't want to pay for it, and today they emailed me that I got the complete package upgrade at no cost to me! Woot! One of the perks of switching to DirecTV over Time Warner Cable. But then again, I live in North Carolina now so this is the only way for me to see my hometown Jaguars or my fathers Steelers. Just wanted to brag a little bit. Also, it seems I get an email or a call from them every two weeks throwing freebies at me and I never had this happen with any other provider. Anyone experience this with them?

PS. I know I post my code on my Twitter and Google + page to get people 100 off of their bill, but is there any negative to referring somebody to DirecTV?

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
