Alex Marvez and Bill Polian will be at TC to interview players/coaches. For those without sirius who want to ask any questions, call at 1-877-635-5425. Except for the nere-do-well sons blocking his way to the presidency, Polian may still be here.

Kalil up first, very well spoken. Had high praise for Amini. Said that he and Gross are working hard to coach him up. Said Bells improvement is night and day from last year. Talked about how Chuds playbook is huge.

Hurney up now. Said that in 24 years in the league did more study on Cam than any other player before drafting him. Said the more research he did the more he found out the negative comments about him weren't true. Decision making was not Cams problem last year, had a harder time with timing. Cam been working and improving on check down plays this year, but not going to tell him not to run. CJs knee looks good, no problems. Excited about Edwards return. Mentions Alexander as a player he thinks will make plays. Luke is a young pro, as a rookie. Likes Jason Phillips as depth at MLB. Called Beasons injury a "tweak" no surprises.

Talking to D Will now. Run plays similar to what he did at Memphis. Thinks they'll see less 8-9 man fronts with emergence of LaFell and the play of Murphy. Before every game, he and Stew tell each other, " I'm better than you", friendly competition pushing each other for greatness.

Bill Polion says expect to see wish bone, and fly bone offense from Chud this season.

Olsen and Murphy now. Bill feels Olsen very similar to Wesley Walls. Olsen says offense night and day from last year, evolving. Confidence is much higher this year.

Bill feels Murphy or Adams will end up at #3 WR. Look for more 3 wide sets, spread type offense. Murphy said offense similar to what Al Saunders ran in Oakland. Glad to be reunited with Cam. Said the heat in Spartanburg much different for Napa valley.

Keek up. Luke says camp less physical than college more mental. Getting into groove, game already slowing down. Will LB transition not hard, Bill calls him prototype player for the will in NFL. Working on sinking hips, and lowering pad levels.

Cam now. Says he's matured, learned his role. WR competition very good for team, many options, and different threats. Avoiding questions about new offense, unbelievable potential. Polion drawing up spin option plays on napkins lol. Talks about learning his check downs this year, keeping the chains moving.

First I appreciate you for breaking down the interview, I even gave you your first pie, but in light of the recent (shootings) incidents, would you mind switching your sig to a naked woman or something less violent.

Please

I feel that blaming a gun for violence, is like blaming a spoon for making you fat. My hobby is competitive shooting, hence my sig.

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
