i just saw them showing players holding a bunch of flags to represent each team. they were specifically talking about the giants and cowboys. antonio pierce was holding the giants' and i didn't see who had dallas'... but it panned out and i saw the panthers and he was wearing 85. was that him?! oh man i love wesley. i need to find something about this. was my fav player when i first became a fan since he was basically the best player on offense. eventually met him at a falcons game (along his mom, oddly enough) and got his glove along with an autograph on my jersey. awesome player and guy.

Funny you should mention meeting him and his mom at a Falcons games.

One year I sat next to his grandmother at a Falcon game. She was a small fragile thing.

Early in the 1st half he was taken to the locker room. He returned after the half and continued to play.

After the game she Invited us to go down to outside the locker room to meet him. When he came out she started giving him $h!t for leaving the game. He had a huge bandage on his middle finger. He explained he thought he had jammed it. What he didn't know was he broke it clean in half and tore the ligaments. When he went to reset it he pulled it right off. They fixed and bandaged him up. He insisted to go back in because Memaw wouldn't understand.

I think he was really scared of her.
