That first drive was embarrassing for the Saints*. Screen play after screen play after screen play, and they couldn't stop it. Then RG3 has added to that now with 2 good TD passes and 1 other pass where he evaded pressure and found someone downfield on the opposite sideline.

Yes his stats are inflated from the screen plays but he is looking damn impressive.

I am holding my judgement until he faces a real defense. Not only is the Saints* D not spectacular when they are 100% healthy, they are that much worse when they are missing their only notable corner.

This is a real NFL defense. Nobody said he's Montana or that he's facing the 85 Bears. But for his first game ever this is very impressive so far. He's playing better than Brees.
