9/11 Tribute Thread

11 years ago today the World Trade Center buildings in New York City were brought to the ground in a random act of violence and terrorist plot.

Let us never forget the thousands who lost their lives and the brave men and women who gave their lives up on this day eleven years ago. Let us never forgive those who tread against us in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave and let not the deaths of the innocent be in vain.

Thank you to the men and women in the armed services both at home and abroad. Thank you to the police officers and firefighters whom dedicate their life's work to the protection and well-being of America's citizens. We must hold strong and we will overcome!

God bless America!

Heading into SC I saw some guys on the first 5-6 overpasses on 77 with American flags. People were honking and waving. Other than that, I have seen no other signs that people remember what today is. Sad.

    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
    • Because playoff hockey and regular season hockey aren’t the same thing.  It’s a combination of the game intensity being dialed up with loose officiating.
