Man these guys are NICE! Where do we rank in sack stats? i cant find it.

not sure if that is up to the minute though, not bad. ill take 11th

I think if the front 4 plays like this next year and we clean up the seconday a little we might have a defense to be feared next season

maybe you should check my last 2 posts.. you should check yourself before you wreck yourself buddy flyin off the handle like you do. I woulda left it as is, but fans like you who have their panties shoved so far up their asses make it fun to troll.

I have been a big doubter of the defense and what it could be capable of.

Today I must give a big hand to the D-Line. Johnson big hand for playing to your Hype. Hardy big hand for finding yourself. Edwards you may prove to be the addition that gets this line over the hump. The subs and backup deserve a hand as well, string out plays and making your presence noted.

Kuechly I could not be more excited about your prospect as our MLB you clearly understand and where made for the position. You seemed to be in proper position at all times.

Thomas Davis - I could not be happier for a player on our team than you. I shouted for joy when you came back onto the filed after the early scare. You seem to be all over the place. I also feel as though you maybe holding back a bit due to the injuries and honestly until you feel solid its ok at this point your play has been great as comfort level increases you will be excellent big hand to you.

Young corners your still learning and finding yourself, for now golf clap but you certainly have the ability to change that to a big hand as well.

Very pleased with defense taking the blunders out of coaches hands and playing to and above your level.

      Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.

      height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.

      People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
