i know nothing of him but i think he played his high school ball at west meck or harding.he also went to wssu but never seen the field from what i seen.not his fault because wssu got the worst coach ever i mean the guy sucks.from playing ball against him he does have some size and athletic ability wish him the best good chance he make the ps and maybe get moved up after

he likes his vets, not necessarily other people's vets. by far most of the starters on the panthers are people they drafted unlike most teams in the league. with the exception of QB, fox prefers to build through the draft and, apparently, though rookie FAs.

don't read too much more into this than what there really is. i don't think that they think they found a star in the making or that they are necessarily hoping for that. they needed an extra body for drills and OTAs. if you can go cheap, why wouldn't you?

i think fox likes vets..not just his...i mean kemo, lewis, brayton he likes the cheap vets with potential...but we are cap strapped i think this is the reason we have not signed robertson..who would make a good passing downs DT..and the reason we signed all of these UD guys

one thing to consider is what should his coaching staff rather work with? young talent that can be molded to fit what they are trying to do or old vets that are likely pretty set in their ways who won't perform at all that much of a higher level than what the young guys will do under the proper leadership. if they are on the team already then they stay.

now we still could go out and get a bunch of really low cost vet DL much like we did going into TC last year, and we still have tons of time to do this, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we didn't. the limited cap space could be preventing them from making other moves but it could also be keeping them from making unnecessary ones.

Exactly....you can bring in guys like this for dirt cheap. If they surprise, then they stick.

Most of the vets out there would require some sort of guaranteed money.
