OT: Let's go JOHNNY FOOTBALL

Once 'Bama beats the ever-living-hell out of the Irish during the National Championship game his stock in everyone's mind will fall back to where it belongs...somewhere around #10, just like a certain Carolina Panther did last year that we all know.

The Heisman voters showed VERY clearly, Te'o is over-hyped and had no more business being in New York tonight than Klein did.

Te'o has a ways to go before I will consider him Kuechly material.

The only thing he has done is be the best player on defense of the world's luckiest and most over-rated team in the history of the BCS National Championship. This doesn't earn you the trophy, nor does being on TV every weekend because NBC discovered a certain demographic that is willing to sit through 20 years of schit to see one year of horseshoe ass-lodged luck that results in an undefeated season.

Last...the Heisman Club owes Herschel Walker a big apology.

we're not drafting teo, but the higher his stock is going into the draft the better it ultimately is for us if we end up with a top five pick. he's the kind of guy teams will trade up for.

Hoping for a St. Louis scenario to happen to us. All those draft picks for a QB hungry Team besides KC. We all know KC will get the #1 pick, they'll take a QB. But another team that needs a QB like, the Bills, Jags (yeah Gabba gabba is poo.), Arizona, Jets (yeah, Sanchez lol. McElroy? LOL!), Raiders (Palmer? Palmer?! lulz) They'll be in the mix for the next best QB available, Geno Smith? Barkley?

Someone has to want these guys or fall in love with the that they'll trade up to our spot to skip someone else.

People keey saying they're hoping for a St Louis situation. 0% chance of it happening, get your heads out of your asses. There's a difference in trading up for RG3 and trading up for Matt fuging Barkley.

Also RG III Stock was going up up up... while Matt's stock has been falling down down down...

So we won't even have the #1 or #2 overall pick, and like you said teams are not going to be giving up everything for any of these top prospects like the St. Louis deal...

Even still St. Louis missed out on the prospect they wanted, and the way the redskins are playing those draft picks may not be as early as they were hoping for.

But like it's been said Carolina getting a deal like St. Louis form last year has almost zero chance of happening IMO.

nobody's saying they want a team's first rounders through 2019.

if we're in a cluster of guys that teams are vying for in the top five pick area, and it's feasible, it'd be a great opportunity to slide back a few picks and maybe get a third-rounder. chances are we're going to have a lot of holes to fill and quantity may slightly supersede quality in terms of importance (and the difference would be marginal anyway.)

Sounds like you're talking out of your ass there chief, you don't know what's going to happen either. There's nothing wrong with 'hoping' that happens or something remotely close to that happening.

About Matt 'fugin' Barkley. Yeah he dropped off the map a bit this year. The same thing was said about Jake locker, tenn took him early. Top 10 pick if I remember correctly. People Swore up and down he wasn't going to be a 1st rounder because of the crap year he had and injury I believe and what happened? Tenn pulled the trigger early and got him.

    • My biggest fear with Bryce Young is that he will always do just enough to stick around. He shows flashes and then drops a turd so the hopium is always there. Like his career highlight reel if you cut it up to some hype music and did a YouTube video would actually be quite good. His great plays really, really look good. But after that video you look at his yearly averages for completion percentage, yardage, touchdowns, and virtually every other metric and it is meh as fug. Like you know Bryce is gonna be 13/23 for 157 yards a touchdown and probably a pick.  I will 100% give him his flowers for his athleticism and ability to scramble outside the pocket. I haven’t seen the mythical “super processing ability” he was touted for per se, but he has shown flashes of absolutely elite awareness when it comes to scrambling. The little basketball move he does to shake defensive linemen has almost become a signature move. It’s hard to explain but you know it when you see it he stops on a dime and pivots like he is gonna hit a step back jumper and it has gotten him out of a lot of trouble.  I sincerely, truly, as a vocal Bryce HATER, hope that since we are obviously running with him next year the coaching staff actually tailors plays around his strengths. He needs to be in a pure spread IMO. His size is much less of a hindrance when he can play QB in open space. I feel like most of his highlight reel is from scrambles and play action/bootlegs.
    • draft me at 19 a lean mean tackling machine
