That's what I want Mullens to do. From the midrange, post and paint. Not from the 3 mark.

Just watch how many time he's waiting for the ball from the three mark when we're on offense than staying inside.

Yeah he does kind of mess the offense up by always being behind the 3pt line despite being a poor 3pt shooter.

He hasn't been a paint presence in over three years, don't get me that crap. Their is a reason that everyone calls him soft and that's because he can't post up worth a damn.

Not being asked to post up because you have Bynum/Howard down there =/= not being able to post up....

This is completely incorrect. Gasol plays the mid range game because that's what the coaches want him to do based on floor spacing. When L.A. was winning titles a few years ago it was because Pau was contributing in the Paint. His post moves are excellent, it's just his rebounding that is a sore spot.....

You realize that most of the time that plays aren't even called on the floor right? Pau has a choice to post up when he sees a match up advantage (and he has one today against Mullens) but he refuses to do so (yes, I know he is still recovering).

Yea all those guys you mentioned can play in the paint, post and from mid range.

And for the most part two of the three don't.

It's not hard to understand that posting up is not in Mullens arsenal. That's like me asking you to go out and compete with NBA players, the fact is you can't. You are asking Mullens to do something that he can't do.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
