I was just gonna say, Canales earned my respect with that move coming in as the new guy and being able to objectively say, “sit him. He’s not good,” regarding your owner’s pet project and former #1 overall pick in his second year. I was explaining to my friend who is a Bears fan that while the pieces we’ve added could help Bryce, we essentially are putting the ball in his court - if you can’t win with this, the next guy will. QB will now be a plug and play position for us if the Bryce experiment fails because every position around QB is ready to win. -
It should be an easy decision at the end of this year. You don't move on from a franchise QB just because they aren't a top 5 guy. The last team I can think of that did it was the Browns and see how that turned out. If Bryce sucks this year it's an easy move on. -
