This is the most promising young core that we have ever had! I still lean more to Shabazz for the shot creativity that ZB talks about, but like chuck said who could say no to a pure shooter with athleticism!

And now with our Portland pick lets take a flyer on an injured Noel

Lol. Noel will still be a top3. It's the NBA, injury doesn't affect draft status. It's a 5year outlook

Im not saying he will automatically plummet now but injuries(definitely knees) are a bad thing in the nba. Bigs with injury issues rarely pan out(see Oden) so if Noel falls(to like the third or fourth big taken as opposed to the first) it wouldn't shock me.

But hes not. X-ray were said to be negative and should be ready in 8months. If he do fall, it's not going to be all the way to 14. Maybe 5-7.

Depending on how the season pans out, certain players perform and team needs its possible he could fall to 14(highly unlikely sure).

I don't have an issue with his injury but that doesn't mean nba gms won't. If he did fall and we got him at 14 time to celebrate. It would be like Star falling to the panthers, not going to happen but if it does awesome.

Well if 12 other gms passes him up then why should we even bother to take him at 14? It he fall that far, it' gotta be a major problem.

Seriously though it won't happen but if it does you take him. Injury or not you take him at 14 and hope he gets healthy.

      I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.

      Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.

      This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
