which QB was?

listen, i know this is a huge deal to you and something that you are deeply passionate about, but you know you've got nothing but your opinion going for you. i can't prove anything which doesn't bother me. i don't agree with your opinion, but I'm also not going to continue with your pissing match crusade to prove that there is no WR worth that pick or that patterson isn't all that good.

there's a saying that goes "you can't out-puke a buzzard" and thats the mindset I'm using with you. i honestly don't care about this as much as you. don't take that to mean you know more than me or I'm surrendering to your superior intellect (which i have no doubt you will anyway and that doesn't bother me). I'm going to keep on laughing at your crusade and your narrow-mindedness, but I'm not really going to try and out puke you. i may point and laugh and i might jab you with a stick about drafting a WR early just for poo and giggles, but dont expect much effort in responding to you about this because i know that regardless of what anyone says, you aren't open to any ideas different than yours and thus just aren't worth the effort.

I stop reading when it was clear you weren't going to answer the question "again" . So all this Bull poo you typed was just as big of a waste as drafting a WR like Patterson at number 14.

"@evansilva: I expect Cordarrelle Patterson to be drafted in single digits & make immediate impact. #Browns (6) #Bills (8) #Jets (9) all fits in top 10."

And Mel kiper thought Jimmy Clause was the most pro ready QB in the draft.

Still notice you're Dodging the question like Barry Sanders good for you.

oh, and dodging....not wasting my time...whatever. i already said i couldn't. doesnt mean it cant happen. doesnt mean I'm wrong. doesnt mean jack.

keep on hanging your hat on that, tho. I'll keep laughing at you caring that much.

.

So if it hasn't happen in the 30 to 40 or 50 something years of the draft. What makes you think it's a good idea?

IMO Patterson is ahead of Demaryius Thomas of the Broncos Raw and better than Stephen Hill Raw. He is between Julio Jones and Demaryuis Thomas and DTs development was curtailed by an ACL injury.

Is he gong to be AJ Green ..no which is why I wanted him No.1 overall when he came out..but will he get to Julio Jones Bowe level? quite possibly and he has ELITE physical skill..

He is not Dewaye Jarrett who had a limited upside and maxed out his Sophmore Year of College.

I do understand however any apprehension over a high quality OL....but if its between DT and WR..I go with the point scorer.

    • If we don't go OT, we will regret it.  What bothers me?  Are we going to get a starting-caliber OT at 19?  I think the draft is solid at OT, and the more I read up and watch video, the more I watch Lomu, the more I want him.   I see Freeling as a RT who needs some work in run blocking (since we need to run first, maybe not a good fit) and I see Proctor ending up as a Guard.  After Lomu (assuming Mouigia and fanu are gone), I think we wait until round 2.  In round 2, there are about 3-4 I like (Zuhn--good pass blocker and VERY underrated right now; Tiernan is a very good pass blocker as is Miller from Clemson, but both are not good in the run game.  Max Ixxxxx from Ariz St is impressive too---technically, there is not a of difference in these second tier guys--good in pass pro, need work in the run game.   If we wait until round 2 for an OT, we probably need to sign Nijman and start him early.   I almost think this is what we should do if Lomu is gone.  There is a big dropoff after him, imo, and I think we'd get better value if a stud ILB or edge is there.  Someone like TJ Parker Clemson makes sense. If Lomu is gone, trading back might be the play.
    • And what is x gunna help with except show him what not to do. Plus for the first year and a half he was just an obstacle
    • I understand that some people want WR. I am solidly against using yet another high pick there. Coker is pretty good and we used No picks on him.  What I think we really need at WR is a little bit of a Smitty lite. It is ridiculous to say let’s get a Smitty because you just can’t do that, but someone not tall and long striding but more in his mold. I think we’d have a pretty well rounded group.    Looking at tackle, with replacing Moton looming, it just seems like the no brainer.  You fill in Icky short term. Depending on how he recovers, and how the new guy plays, you go from there. A tackle at 19 is most likely either a LOT, a ROT, or a big talented guard, at worst. We will need all three in the next couple of years.  I would love to have a stud ILB be there at 19 but the OL is the responsible thing to do I believe.
