I'm curios as to when's the soonest they can become the hornets. Could they change over this off season since the name is already owned by the league and still has merchandise and so forth.

Seems they could fast track the deal and let the bobcats become the hornets the upcoming year

I think they will do it in the 2014 offseason. I have no evidence, but I think that makes the most sense. Unless MJ is tired of the attendance and merch sales and hopes/thinks that a rebrand will bring more $ next year. However, as far as a brand goes, I think it would be best to wait until we have a competitive team (2014-15 season) before rebranding. You don't want even a single season of crappiness to be stuck with a brand.

I can't wait until when 20 years from now people start wearing retro bobcats gear and some douche starts a movement to COME BACK CATS

Difference between the Bobcats and the Hornets is the Hornets actually have history where as the Bobcats are just meh...

I see what you're saying though even if I want the Hornets back in Charlotte

    • Also confirmed that Andersen was injured and not 100%. Said he could've kinda played but really can't do that this time of the year.
    • Rod kinda confirmed that Staalsy is gonna retire. Called it a great ending to his story.    Glad for him to go out on top with the cup and conn if true.
    • Every union, union adjacent, or union tangent organization does this. They prey on dumb employees  who think the union is there for them instead of the mob or some other social-politically entangled arse. Always degrades the product and indeed the price of that product too. Then money flowing up to people with 0 to do with anything about the product. Its the most simple protection racket and oldest in the book yet people are still sub 70 enough to think it matters for anything other than making money for the racketeers.  I mean this is on their Wiki(yeah i know wiki) The NFL Players Association is the labor union representing National Football League players in matters concerning wages, hours and working conditions, and protects their rights as professional football players. So instead of the player doing that with his own agent which is why you have a fkn agent lol. So they are pilfering money from the player twice. Agent then NFLPA The standard annual membership dues are approximately $15,000. While players are not legally obligated to formally join the union, those who choose not to are generally still required to pay a mandatory service fee equivalent to union dues. Can't take anyone seriously when they talk up unions and since the mob is involved that's why you get those refs doing NFL ref poo. You can even hear former mob Michael Franzese just open admit this now that he's out of prison and making YT videos.(has been for years now)
