2013 mock offseason draft

Question: I know this probably isn't the right thread, but As the GM of the Falcons I released Michael Turner and John Abraham. In real life they released Dunta Robinson. Do I have to remove him from my depth chart and if so do i get any of the cap relief from it?

No, you dont have to remove him.

Officially your roster is controlled within the Huddle rules.

As the Giant GM however I'm drafting real world as for instance my starting Left Tackle Will Beatty was re-signed in real life but lost because my cap number was negative to start. I'd have had to release Eli to clear the cap space to retain Beatty.

So I was lucky enough to get Sheldon Richardson Round 1 to replace real world FA Chris Canty.

The Giants line featuring Jason Pierre Paul and Sheldon will be devastating.

Ok. Thanks for the clarification. I made several moves in Free Agency and wasn't really expecting the release of Robinson. I lost William Moore to free agency, so that is why i drafted Cyprien just now. Too many CB's taken in the first round to not have to reach at 30. Banks could probably have worked, but I think Cyprien will turn out to be the best all around safety in this draft. Glad I don't have to replace Robinson unless I choose to though.

Did any team have a better round 1 than the Eagles?

I think not :)

I dislike Hankins and Austin, Im the rams and couldnt bring myslef to take a slot Wr in round 1.... Even though i need like 4 wrs. I will say Luke Joeckel, OT is a great pick for the Eagles

Rams draft is good so far: pick 22- J. Cooper OG and Pick 31- Jesse Williams DT. Gotta beef up those lines for Jeff Fisher

I got the #29 pick by trading Desean Jackson, so basically I traded Jackson for Tavon Austin. Jackson might be proven and Austin isn't, but Jackson is also a proven lazy, injury prone headcase. I think it's an upgrade for the Eagles.

Well 1st Austin would have to prove he's not only a slot WR for it to be an upgrade.

DJax might have been an off the field issue at times but let's not forget that when he's on, he's one of the most dynamic WRs in the NFL.

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
    • Proper stud that would look even better if they could upgrade Scott. And get a resemblance of pressure on the QB
