Eagles | McNabb restructures contract

Updating a previous report, ESPN.com reports the Philadelphia Eagles and QB Donovan McNabb have agreed to restructure the final two years of McNabb's contract. McNabb will make $24.5 million over the next two years with another $1 million in incentives, according to ESPN's Michael Smith. He was due to receive $9.2 million this season and $10 million next season before restructuring his deal.

That's a load of loot for two years.

Eagles | McNabb deal does not add length to years of contract

Continuing an ongoing storyline, Bob Brookover, of The Philadelphia Inquirer, reports while the Philadelphia Eagles restructured the contract of QB Donovan McNabb and he received a bump in pay, the team did not extend the deal beyond the two years he had remaining on his previous contract.

Head scratcher?
