Samuel Dalembert possibly traded to the CATS

Trade rumors involving Samuel Dalembert and the Bobcats have surfaced.

Dalembert has been very vocal about wanting to be traded out of Philly. A trade to Charlotte would mean a reunion of Dalembert with coach Larry Brown.

I would think it could possibly be for Mohammed and Radmanovic and possibly for one of our two second round draft picks.

Yeah I heard it was those players and EITHER one of our 2nd round picks or we just swap our 1st rounds so it would be Radmanm, Nazr and our 12th for Dalembert and their 17th. Seems fair to me. Dalembert fell off a bit this year after averaging a double double last year, but that could be due to the fact Elton Brand came in to town and took up minutes.. Dalembert had 34 mpg last year this year it was only like 23mpg. Looks like a solid pick up for us and a better scoring option than Diop and it would mean more cap space to most likely bring in a SG. As for the 17th pick it would be for depth. I highly doubt Gerald Henderson would be there but it could happen, otherwise we get Dejuan Blair or Danny Green.

Brand was hurt almost all year. I think he played in 25 games. This has to be a salary dump. I've never heard of this guy.

It won't be our first rounder Brown is already set on either draftind DeJuan Blair or Gerald Henderson, if this rumor is true they will get the Bobcats earliest second rounder.

Wow, I knew our contract situation sucked. Dang....That's ridiculous.

Boris makes 9 million a year for the next 4 years.

Oak makes 9-14 mill a season for the next 5 years.

Wallace makes 8-11 million a season for the next 4 years.

Diop makes 5-7 million a season for the next 4 years.

Ouch.

      Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!

      Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.

      OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
