The 2007 Draft Six Years Later From Football Outsiders.

Here's a look back from the 2007 Draft from Football Outsiders. It's pretty fun because we did fairly well in it (It's the Beason, Kalil, Johnson Draft) and some of the positions were weird that year (The best quarterback of the entire class was either Trent Edwards or Kolb, which is . . . Eww.)

Anyway, I thought it was kind of a fun look back from a draft that doesn't seem like it's already 6 years ago.

Could've been an even better draft of Jarrett didn't bust outta the league. I could remember when people were debating about Calvin and Jarrett to see who's better. So much potential down the drain.

It basically just took him and Mike Williams to have everyone sour on the big possesion receiver that lacks elite speed.

    • THIS PERIOD IS WERE WE FIND OUT IF THE ROLL OVER AND DIE or if they NUT UP AND WIN THE GAME and make this a series...  And i for one think a lot of this is mental WINNING one here will be a HUGE CONFIDENCE BOOST. And florida is getting worn down you can see it.
    • Eh idk about this. He’s a 100 point player in the toughest market in hockey. Not to mention, guys seem to play more freely once they leave Toronto. I’d be willing to bet that Marner could unlock Svechnikov. I’d go hard after both Marner and Bennett in the offseason.
    • I’m not going to sit here and say he played “amazing” in this game against the Eagles, but you’re selling this performance short. Stats do not tell the whole story here.  If Leggette doesn’t drop that late 32 yard pass, Bryce ends up with 223 yards and 2TDs and doesn’t end up with 2 additional incompletions after that drop trying to force things to the end zone at the end of the game. So that’s be 20-32 instead of 19-34, good for a 62.5% completion percentage. His YOA would be 6.96 and his QB rating would have been 91.2. And the story everyone is talking about after the game is how Bryce led a game winning drive to beat one of the best teams in the league, the team we did not know at the time would become Super Bowl champions.  But none of that happened all because of an awful drop by Leggette, something totally out of Bryce’s control. Bryce played well that game.
