Single EVGA 8800GT Akimbo

4 GB DDR2 OCZ Platinum RAM

Win XP Pro

 

Still plays today's games without much of a hiccup. Can't do max settings, but I can get 30-60 FPS depending on the game. Still, time to upgrade in the near future, as it's a dinosaur at this point. My question is, will I need to replace the Antec 850 TruPower Quattro PS when I do my upgrades? Will the newer components require a new connector that my old one doesn't have?

That should last another 5-7 years like the last two gaming rigs I've had. I'm trying not to spend too much, but cost over time is a factor I take into consideration when building.

Pretty much how I'm going with it.  I am hoping Football Manager 2013 gets a huge reduction, and a few others.  I have 2012, but don't see the need to pay $40 for a minor upgrade.

I really hope you are just trolling me.

 

I am just saying I'd rather have both a console and a PC for gaming.  I play/played civilization, age of empires, minecraft, risen, and many mmorpg's on the PC, but to say that there aren't games worth playing on the console is a bit ridiculous.

I play from time to time but I can't devote myself to learning all the nerfs and buffs every 2 weeks. All I do now is play ARAM and occasionally jump in on a normal game. So i just sit on my smurf accounts :(

Yeah these guys I play with on other games are always bugging me to play LoL but I just don't want to have to dedicate enough time into it and I'm not going to be a bad player either, so I just kind of choose to stay away from it.  I played a few games though and I just don't feel it honestly.   I do listen to them playing and they are never happy and apparently the gaming community is the worst of any game, ever lol.
