Jerry Richardson's son is dead

It's sad that a tragedy like this is what it takes to get posts regarding Mr. Richardson that are not full of ridicule or disdain. Granted, many of "us" are not like that, but many more are and as this sinks in we should all remember that all the money in the world doesn't make you any less human and it does not ease the pain when the life of a loved one ends.

I do not personally know Mr. Richardson, but I am truly sorry for his loss. It is a sad day in Panthernation.

A few years back when Jon was still president of stadium operations, the team - for whatever reason - wasn't able to give out their usual Christmas bonuses.

 

Jon reportedly called all of his direct employees in and gave each one a hundred dollars out of his own pocket. Even apologized that he couldn't give more.

 

That's the kind of boss I think anyone would want to work for.
