Smith has 11,452 career receiving yards, all with the Panthers. Only five players in NFL history have more career receiving yards while playing for only one team.

Minus the obvious crap ranking for Cam Newton, #71 seems to be a good spot for Steve and shows that at his age, he still garners national respect.

I'm thinking next year's rankings, Cam vaults up 90 spots while Steve moves up 20. That's how great Cam will be this coming year.

    • Backup QB has been an issue of mine for a long time but not just for Bryce and Dalton. We have never really been able to develop QBs or build an offense around strengths. Dalton isn't going to move the needle one way or another. The problem is in our FO and possibly coaching staff (current staff undetermined as of yet). I'm of the belief that you always try to get better. Dalton wasn't good other than one game against an abysmal defense. Churn the roster, including backup QB. If BY isn't the guy we've got to start over anyway. Who knows. We might actually find someone good. Other teams have done it before.
    • Lol. Worst case? I think you mean most likely result. I don't think people are going to be wasting much breath on Dalton or QB2 if Bryce flounders this year. It's going to be people calling for coaches, GM's and owners heads for the mess we got ourselves in with Bryce in the first place. Rightfully so.
    • I mean that's his sole reason for being here. He doesn't win football games. He's here to keep Bryce comfortable.
