He got injured in practice a couple weeks ago and injuries linger.

He and the staff said the injury wasn't significant and if it was a real game he would have been back in a few plays later.  I don't think there's any reason to believe he's any more likely to get injured than any other player....

Mike Evans or Jordan Matthews are my tops for WR.  This is gonna be a big year in Nashville and if Matthews can really refine and solidify his route running and overall crispness, he's easily my top choice.  DO WANT

Some damn good OTs in the draft.  I doubt we'll wind up with Jake Matthews or Lewan. I think James Hurst could be great in the NFL outta UNC

jordan matthews tore it up last night vs ole miss. he showed that he has everything needed to be a #1 receiver in the nfl imo.

he got hit so hard going over the middle he threw up, held on to the ball, and came back in the game later.

Cyrus K has looked bad the first half.  He's been slow off the snap, has had trouble dealing with guys going inside on him, and trouble mirroring pass rushers with his foot speed. He just doesn't look comfortable at LT.

    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
