I have to agree, we played aan overall great game

Great play calling

Great tough calls

Great defensive plays

From now on im going to go into each game thinking we are going to lose.

I did that going into the giants game too.

Same here.  I hope the Panthers prove that they can feast on more than just the weak teams going forward.

I agree with Marguide.  The blowout wins are great and all, but for my opinion on Rivera to even budge I need to see him win a close game or two.  I did like the 4th down attempts, didn't love the playcall on the second one but at least it worked.

Shula called an interesting game, for sure.  That flea flicker screen pass was nice, I was saying the same thing Billick was before he said it, "I've.....never seen that.  Hm."  Certainly not something we'll wanna use often, pretty long developing and potential for big loss at two points in the development of the play, but was definitely fun to watch.

Fua...gdmf fua.  He's my new Nakamura.  Most hated player on the team.  Seriously, it's like clockwork.  Almost every time there's a run of 8+ yards against us, it's because Fua's in there.  And he played WAAAAAY more snaps than makes any kind of sense.  Edwards is injured, so we need a filler DT until he gets back?  Ok, I see the reasoning even if I know for a fact there's at least 10 DTs we could sign today that'd be better than Fua.  But Fua rotated in almost every other possession today?!!?  If we MUST play him, be it spot duty to give the guys that belong in the NFL a breather.  If we're SO thin at DT right now we have to pay quite possibly the worst DT in the league to play for us, we don't have the luxury of letting Star and KK get every other possession off.  I'd MUCH rather have Hardy playing DT and Alexander playing DE when Star/KK need a breather than let Fua play.  Here's a rotation idea I'd prefer if they don't want to just use the backups as occasional breather relief, considering Edwards still out:

1st drive:  CJ - Star - KK - Hardy

2nd drive: CJ - Cole - KK - Hardy

3rd: CJ - Star - Hardy - Alexander

4th: CJ - Star - KK - Alexander

5th: Hardy - Cole - KK - Alexander

6th: CJ - Star - Cole - Hardy

And keep the rotation flowing something like that.  No DT plays more than 2 series back to back, and only CJ plays more than 3 series back to back at DE (I think he's our most well conditioned DE).  And no need for Fua.
