Look at the numbers the CO MVP had that year. I didn't figure you could own up to being wrong though, Mr Straw men

LMAO this is getting so sad. Just stop embarrassing yourself dude.

QBS with over 4,000 yards passing:

2003- 2

2013- 11

Youre so right, Cam would have totally won the 2003 NFL MVP. Unfortunately, the game has evolved since then kid. Your retarded argument should as well.

Also, didnt you say that you could "keep listing examples if you wanted to"? well go on then. list them. Ill be here waiting.

Don't worry, the  passing yards will come. Right now teams are giving up the short stuff to Newton, cause they don't think he'll be patient enough to work his way up the field (the way many Huddler's claim they wanted him to). Newton is taking what the defense is giving him.

Plus, last game Newton should have had over three hundred yards, if it wasn't for the drops by Lafell, Smith (and of course) Ginn.

Panthers have also been involved in some blow outs as well. They still haven't reached the halfway point yet.

Stay tuned.

    • I see both sides of the arguments, but compared to last year we're somehow at an upgrade over completely fried Dalton and wasn't even good in college Plummer. At least Pickett and Grier probably have some desire to make more money when Dalton was happy to just go through the motions and I will never understand why they even bothered with Plummer.
    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
