If we miss the playoffs at 9-7 or 10-6 and still fire Rivera.. We deserve to be bottom dwellers.

Yea and it won't be us. That 9-7 team will probably come out from the NFCEast or the AFC. There's no way we'll make the playoffs at 9-7 while New Orleans, Green Bay, and probably Detriot will all go above 10-6.

So if New Orleans and Green Bay win their divisions, then we have to be one of 2 wildcards.  Detroit will be in the mix but I don't know if they will be above 10-6 or even make it to 10-6.  There is a lot of football left and injuries to key folks make a huge difference.  Plus Detroit hasn't been blowing anyone away.  They are scoring a lot but also giving up a lot as well.

I don't know how things will turn out really but I hope we are still relevant in December which is something we haven't been in a while.

Yea. SF will be the other wild card. Only one left which right now will probably be us or Detroit; assuming Chicago out due to the injuries of Cutler and Briggs.

Lets hope that either we keep winning a lot of games or Detroit keeps losing a lot. One of the other.

I will not root against the Lions. So how about this? We spank the 9ers so thoroughly next week, we send them reeling into a 4 game losing streak. Never to be heard from again. Absolutely Shakespearian. (The New Bully beating/killing down the Old Bully/antagonist.) Vanquish and enemy. And keep my dream of a Lions vs. Panthers NFC Championship Game alive.

I know a lot of folks missed it the fist time. I guess it is cuz they just can't, or flat out don't, believe in this team. BUT, Since week 12 of last year, we are 10-5. Let's just keep playing well, and winning. Then worry about playoff seeding down the line. If we keep winning, everything else will fall into place.

Let's just enjoy this for the immediate future. Cuz that 9er Pat duo can mean an awful lot for our season. Win both, we are for real. Split and we are still in the mix. Lose both, and we need help.

Best case. We continue to win, force the aints hand, they fold, we win the Division.

Speaking of spanking. I know alt. thinks they have problems now. They are going to be shell shocked after this week. We are going to throttle them so badly, they spiral down a dark lonely path to oblivion.

Same with the aints. Go into that... building, spank them just like everybody else, come home leading the Division. Yeah, I went there.
