Game 4: Charlotte Bobcats @ New York Knicks

And seriously on Sessions. I would not mind Pargo getting some of his minutes.

Agreed.  I get that he can put points on the scoreboard, but his game frustrates me.  He's always looking for his shot first, and if he can in no way find an opening to drive and the jumper is not there, he will throw a bullet to Biz which you know he can't catch.  Or he will leave his feet a passer sometimes, throwing backwards to Zellar or another player out of position.

I like Pargo's game, not sure why he's getting no time.

The real answer is that the sucks. Can't play D and is a streaky jump shooter. That may have fit with Dunlap's offense, but no place for that crap In Clifford's offense

I still feel like he could be getting around 5 minutes a game. If he is that worthless to us we should trade him for whatever we can get.

This, plus he has zero handle, nothing.  Watch him when he needs to dribble the ball around any type of traffic or defensive pressure.  Guaranteed turnover.

He's only good for shooting when he doesn't have to create his own shot, everywhere else he's a liability.  It will be nice when that ridiculous contract is gone.

U say that as we won't get anything valuable in return. Do U realize how valuable a 13 million expiring contract is. That is gonna bring some serious talent here by trading him which they might do. They could possibly let him expire and and use the 13 mill. But they probably package him and something else to get a star. U prolly realize that tho lol. Just good for discussion and excites me when looking whatver could get for him.

Expiring contracts only have value when you are taking back a worse contract for multiple years. Nobody is going to trade anything of value for Gordon. Maybe a second rounder and a crappy player but that's about it.

Ha. U really don't think some teams would be plenty happy to get relief in the amount of 13 million. The cba and the penalties now are way more than before. Teams that are over the cap by 30 million and have to pay an additional tax of 60-100 million just for being over.

So yeah plenty of people would kill to have a 13 million expiring.

I understand that. But it doesn't help them if they don't give up a longer contract. Having a 13 million dollar contract disappear at the end of the season doesn't help unless you get rid of long-term money.

    • Yea after the early games where I liked all the favorites, not alot I see this afternoon that I'm sure about or like.  Will maybe do some 2nd half bets if I can get away from computer for work to watch games and see trends.   I do think Clemson beats Carolina pretty easily tonight.  Clemson would've won in Chapel Hill if Bogavac didn't have an out of body experience and turn into JJ Reddick the final 3 minutes of that game.
    • EDGE Jaelan Phillips signs with Carolina Panthers 2025 PFF Grade: 74.2 2025 PFF WAR: 0.09 Contract: 4 years, $120 million PFF Projected Contract: 1 year, $15 million PFF Deal Grade: Below Average This deal grade could change depending on the guarantees, but the contract is a big risk for the Panthers, given how much time Phillips has missed in his career because of injuries. At his best, he can be a top-15 to top-20 edge defender in the NFL. He ranked tied for 26th in PFF overall grade at the position last year but played fewer than 500 snaps in each of the previous two years.
    • LB Devin Lloyd signs with Carolina Panthers 2025 PFF Grade: 88.4 2025 PFF WAR: 0.24 Contract: 3 years, $45 million PFF Projected Contract: 3 years, $48 million PFF Deal Grade: Good After two years as a good linebacker, Lloyd became one of the game’s best in 2025 by producing an 85.2 PFF run-defense grade and a 78.9 PFF coverage mark. Carolina lands a much-needed playmaker over the middle after placing 29th in PFF overall grade at linebacker, and to add Lloyd below market projection is terrific.
