Gerald Henderson Summer League Stats

Recommended Posts

Who cares what he does right now in summer league. All I care about is when he straps on the shoes and the games start to count he plays well and is successful as a Charlotte Bobcat. As a fan that's all you should care about. Yea it's nice if a player your team drafted does well in summer league but it doesn't mean a whole lot of anything if they do.

Wow, you seem to have a nasty attitude with everybody, eh?

No, just you. Everyone else for the most part i like. Even the guy i called a dumbass. He was lashing out at someone and his reason was post count, which is dumb. There are a few hundred people on here and i have a problem with 2 people and that equals everyone? I've really only ever been rude to you on here and that's because you come on here like you have all this knowledge and you're so much better then everyone when actually you're pretty fuging annoying and never have a clue what you're talking about.

See the UNC fans and the ones that wanted Williams don't get this. They all pretty much want him to fail so they can rag on Duke and say i told you so. I was pulling hard for Sean May even though he is a fat worthless slob. I want the Bobcats to win. If Gerald turns out to be a bust i will be the first to admit it. I won't say he is a bust from the first year or summer league though he needs a couple of years to say he is a bust.

I am UNC fan but, I certainly do not want him to fail, because if he fails that makes MJ look like an idiot once again. I would love for Henderson to have good career in the NBA and help the Bobcats get to the playoffs.

On another note the only reason I lashed out at most of you is because I was misquoted by almost everyone. I have highlighted the first sentence that everyone read and freaked out because they thought I called Henderson a bust. Which is not the case. I was expressing my opinion in a realistic but negative/positve way like most of the sports media do.

CarolinaPanthers8789.... i have enjoyed reading your updates daily about the news happening league wide in the summer league. the article you wrote starting "Henderson a bust?" was a very good opening about the reading. i am currently in school for sports journalism and broadcasting, so i do indeed write often and i enjoy your style of writing. it is very fluid and accurate. thanks for all the updates as i do not have time to watch many of these games due to school and work.

i personally wanted henderson all along, he plays hard and will at least be a solid defender for 10 yrs. he can slash to the basket and puts up amazing dunks and blocks consitantly. reminds me of gerald wallace personlly....

anyway thanks again for updates! (very good) talk to yall soon, oh for some of yall, i have been active reader here for 4-5 yrs... but rarely post, i have to write about sports all day all the time an so writing on here feels like school an work sometimes haha

GO BOBCATS!

Yeah, I enjoy your posts also. I have actually started coming here first to read about these summer league games. It seems like the observer worries more about Curry than the bobs, which pisses me off. So, don't worry about the haters, I like having someone to talk about the bobs. I wish more people in this forum posted in this section. It seems like you, carpanfan, and musikman are the only ones that really keep up with this section.

Anyways, back to bball, it sucks that the bobcats don't have their own team. I can't believe Henderson didn't play today. Is Ajinca playing this summer?

I actually have not heard about Ajinca, but I would have thought he would have been playing.

bout to transfer to UNC or indiana to finish my journalism.... then charlotte school of broadcasting for that. i just finished 2 yrs at CPCC for all my general courses and i took all journalism there... i freelance to magazines for sports biography's and opinionated articles on trades, signings, and any team realted issues usually dealing with players in football (NFL), baseball, basketball (college and NBA) soccer, lacrosse, and then i also write some for a few christian publications.

im taking a semester off to get $ for school, athletic scholerships fell through when i got hurt so im savin to get in then walk-on whenevr i go, an try to work for a scholarship if my knee can hold up. i want to be a sports analyst or maybe a scout really, id like to work for either bobcats panthers, or redskins.... im from VA orginally

alexis is in europe playin for the french team. i really do like him and think he can turn into something nice in a few yrs. i dont see why all of u get mad when you say he's a bust blah blah blah, but when we draft someone who has already peaked in potential yall complain too. we drafted a High risk high reward with a late 1st round pick chill. he is tall and long, good shot just needs to bulk up some and will naturally, he is only 21 and will get stronger with time. he also will learn the language and get the flow of NBA game. european ball is way different then american ball. lets wait a yr or 2 an see what we get!

    • There are a lot of moving parts to this type of questions and way too many variables to consider to really predict how the outcome would have been any different in 2023 with Dalton starting more than just one game.  But instead of focusing on that Seattle game, another game, and the game following it, are more intriguing to me.   Week 16 vs Green Bay.  Young had the best game of his rookie season.  23/36 (64%) for 312 with 2 TD and no INT.  Thielen (6/94), Chark (6/98) and Tremble (4/59) all had huge plays in the passing game. The running game was a different story.  Hubbard (16/43) and Sanders (3/3) combined for just 46 yards rushing.  Mays was starting at LG and Jensen at RG.  The offensive line was able to protect Young just enough to keep the Panthers in the game until the very end.  But this wasn't because they were playing at a high level, rather the Packers defense played horrible this game. But this horrible defensive effort by the Packers allowed us to see what could be possible if Young had time to process and throw. Fast forward to Week 17 vs Jacksonville.  The offense was shut out and the offensive line allowed 6 sacks and 8 more QH's.   If you go back and watch these games back to back, the line play if very noticeable.  When Young had time in process and move, he was spot on.  When the line collapsed, like most QBs, he was ineffective. When you draft a QB 1st overall in the draft, especially if you trade up to do so, you hope to get a QB that can make plays despite the struggles around him.  Think Newton his rookie year.  Should the Panthers have traded up in the 2023 draft to the 1st overall and should they have drafted Young at that spot? My opinion is no to the first question and no QB in 2023 was worth trading up to take in the top 10.  Neither Stroud, Richardson or Levis would have been worth it.   But none of them would have fared any better than Young either with the Panthers, in my opinion.  Stroud had a good season in Houston but he didn't have a Cam Newton or Lamar Jackson season.  He needed slightly above average talent in one of the worst divisions to make the playoffs. He had the season we were hoping for in Carolina but wasn't going to get with Young or Stroud. Now, I'm not trying to put Young up on a pedestal here.  There are a lot of questions that still surround him and his ability to be QB1 on the Panthers in the future.  But the issue last year wasn't just the play at the QB position.  And really, I don't think the WR issues were as much as people make them out to be.  The real issue on this offense was the line and the running game.  If your line can't get a push to run the ball or pass block to pass the ball, you have no offense.   Start Young. Start Dalton.  Draft Stroud, Richardson or Levis.  Kidnap Mahomes.  Doesn't matter, I think the end result would have been the same.
    • If you blink often, you might or might not have eye issues. If your eyes aren't dry, your blinking may be caused by stress. If your excessive blinking is caused by stress, find ways to relax. If a tic is unlikely, talk with your ophthalmologist. If you want to ensure that your eyes aren't puffy, put your eye gels and creams in the fridge. This coolness will help to reduce inflammation, plus it will feel great when you put it on. Be sure to use your gel or cream every day for optimal results. Keep saline solution within reach. You can easily protect your eyes at work by wearing goggles. However, most people don't wear goggles for cleaning up in the home. If cleaning chemicals or soaps get into your eye, your first step should be to rinse the eye thoroughly using saline solution. Use a cotton wool pad soaked in a solution of rose water and a couple of drops of castor oil. When you place these pads on the eyelids, you can reduce the effects of eye burn. Other irritating issues with your eyes can be diminished or avoided using this method as well.   Read This Also:   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/a484a905-2985-4ca2-a25d-47c97ef83b12   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/f60130c8-5c59-4a60-94e8-61f3abcbdf41   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/f1ca107a-2c32-4b0d-bfcf-4efc6021149c   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/735f7e69-c489-4962-a244-aa3fa91bfddc   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/8323f628-d520-4b42-a38c-990f289863dd   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/6f4d5f82-d12f-492f-b5eb-0bb5d220bd99   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/525e1033-ad79-4cb9-bed6-2866753611a0   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/0107abb0-cf2b-41bf-aad4-cd573505fc54   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/3f30e8c3-bbed-437d-ba23-f70b993ed2d9   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/f562319d-a34d-44a5-89b1-8350a3b0fe98   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/919d41bf-cb97-41f7-8249-19636b72455d   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/0934fc64-a653-4379-ace8-a568b0dea68b   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/78269853-0517-4f12-92c3-4be1c1aa13fb   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/b0c67b70-be1f-4107-84de-3fa83dbb56ba   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/06788542-58c6-4ae5-910b-ecbb78500d6c   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/589fb52b-bddf-429b-888d-f940019741de   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/805194cc-1664-4e4e-8bfb-5a8a9dcc1060   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/f67e3cd7-f097-4969-b5ef-c7044bfd998f   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/75948776-07ce-48c8-9871-1422ac7769e4   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/dc8fc1e3-6216-441c-a44f-42447f6695dc   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/215da7df-0d21-4031-941a-d6327ebc39d9   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/759c4712-b49b-4ea6-9220-17e8ec3b7939   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/97b66549-5a25-421f-a053-e63fc7f6334a   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/87b56a8e-4c45-481d-b36a-c54e4da1366b   https://manifold.ecds.emory.edu/groups/9f1b82a9-c028-4b85-8d25-3733c7d67516
