Well i'm thinking of division and 1st seed in the playoffs if 49ers win division and tie with us of course we would win head to head.

Forget the Wildcard. 

 

The Saints still have San Fran and Seattle (in Seattle) on their schedule. I think we will be tied with the Saints come Monday night.

Cards-Jags

 

Jags. I know nobody cares about Arizona, but that team is for real. That Defense is just as good as ours (as we saw in week 5) and they are getting hot. If Palmer can stop sucking they will be in the wildcard discussion. 

 

There is a good shot that Carolina/Arizona could end up with the same record and then comes the tie breaker issue. I'm pulling for the Jags here.

I think we should impose a rule that only people who are good at math, logic, and have researched scenarios should be able to start "Who to pull for" threads.

as long as it's a 3 way tie we come out ahead here are some senarios 

 

10-6 panthers/niners/cards

Niners hold tiebreaker over cards in the division so they get first crack at us for tie breaker

Panthers beat niners head to head so we are 5th seed niners 6th seed

 

 

11-5 niners 5th seed 10-6 panthers/cards/packers 3 way tie

cards beat panthers but did not beat the packers so tie breaker goes to conferences panthers are 6-2 cards 0-2 packers 3-3 so far so panthers get the 6th seed. so as long as we have a 3 way tie we are looking good for a wild card.
