My new pet peeve

In any sport, when the game goes into overtime, usual the twitter account or whatever for the sports team or even ESPN/Sportscenter etc will post something like "FREE ____ IN _____!!!!!!".

If you don't know what I'm talking about its usually like " free baseball in Detroit!" Or "free football in miami" just for example.

I don't know why this bothers me so much because I guess technically its free for the fans at the game but its really starting to become overused and annoying.

Just thought I'd get that off my chest and I hope someone can agree.

i find the ever-increasing use of the word "tilt" to describe a close sports matchup to be extra annoying
