If you combine this with the rumblings from players about Griffin not taking enough responsibility and blame, it doesn't look good.

 

I think Griffin is talented, but he got overexposed from the beginning like he had already arrived, from the nickname, to the commercials, to the press conferences. You name it. Certainly the media helped build him up. We as Panthers fans know they will tear you down.

 

What he does in the offseason will be crucial. If I were him, I'd cut everything back but the team, and refocus completely.

It's pretty well known that Newton's teammates like him now (prior issues have been handled) but I'd be lying if I said I knew whether or not his O-Linemen help him up after a knockdown.

Maybe others have seen, but it's not something I've specifically looked for.

Someone is usually there to help him up. Our guys are playing like a really tight kit group. It's a big reason why we are winning.

I think it a significant issue. When the o line ignores their qb after he gets bulldozered several times it can't help but to raise questions about team cohesivness.

I feel bad for RG3 but from what little evidence I am privvy to it seems his problems may be of hos own making.

Time for him to call Cam.
