You ain't going 80 yards for a TD against this Defense. Not anymore.

 

 

The main reason that won't show up in stats per se is the ball control of the offense. I think the panthers are at or near the top in long drives.

This is good for our d. They are rested and this comes in handy in the 2nd half.

Our avg. drive is almost 9 plays, and 4 1/2 min.. I think we trail Den. for most 80 TD drives, and are 2-3 in total TOP.

That is why folks are not calling us paper Lions. We are the real deal, and folks know it. We have a fantastic Defense. Teamed with an efficient as hell Offense. Backed by really good STs. As Herm says. We travel well.

Us, Sea, then SF, maybe Cin, Buf, are the young guns of the league. I can see a potential Cam and Russell rivalry like the Peyton and Brady one.
