the snow bowl is gonna be fun to watch, but it really fuging sucks for my fantasy team that calvin johnson is gonna be lucky to log a single reception

14 points between him and Stafford for the day!

Good thing I managed to get first place for the regular season because I'm not doing poo for the playoffs I guess

Not really. Gordon was being hailed as a Top 25 talent but his off the field issues prevented him from undergoing the normal process.

Doesn't matter the reason. Good, talented and great players always drop, or can be found where many don't expect them in the draft.

Despite what many want us to believe. It's just not an exact science. They're always surprises.

Yes, it does. If Calvin Johnson was busted for a DUI and possession of cocaine, he'd drop out of the first round. From that point forward, anyone who decides to draft him will be taking a giant risk but he's still a bonifide stud.

I'm not arguing whether or not he or Calvin Johnson are studs. I'm only arguing that great players can be found (and it happens all the time), lower than many expect. They're many high draft pick flops, and players chosen lower than them that are better. That's all.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
