Saints Game - I Expect PLAYOFF Preparation

Whether we end up 2 seed or they end up 5 seed, these two teams can meet again the divisional round

After today's and Seahawks beating, there's no excuse for our defense to come out like we didn't watch any film like we did last week

I'll tell you one thing from watching the Saints and I'm not even a coach, if Sproles is on the field, HE'S GETTING THE BALL EVERY SINGLE TIME

The defense played okay today, but they have to tighten up. They allowed way too much cushion today and they're not going to be able to get away with that with the Saints. Yes, Even with them playing on the road.

Well our secondary is our "weak link" ya know, lol

A few things I picked up from the Seattle and St Louis games:

1. Drew Brees does NOT like to get sacked

2. The Saints receivers don't really go in the out of bounds area behind the end zone so maybe Mitchell doesn't need to guard that area so intently this time around.

3. When Saints players catch the ball in space, it limits their gains when you tackle them.

4. Intercepting the ball slows down the Saints' drives.

5. Scoring touchdowns is a good idea when playing New Orleans .

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
