omg it must be so nice to have something to blame for everything. Our team gets one penalty called against them: "YUP FIGURES!!! GOODELL WANTS (insert team here) TO WIN!" We arent getting media coverage: "YUP! ESPN CLEARLY HATES US!!!" Cam isn't #1 in MVP voting the year peyton is shattering records: "YUP. FUGGING RACISTS!!"

i want to live in this world where everything and everyone revolves around you and your likes/hobbies

Nice strawmem you have there, too bad none of it has anything to do with what I said.

Going to tell me how much of a NC hick I am again? Hahaha

Notice how quickly the NFL turned on RG3?  Or focused on Cam's "fake smile"?  This isn't about whether or not ESPN hates Cam or the Panthers.  Nor are they "racists" because Cam isn't in the MVP discussion.  It's the relative treatment of different young players and the expectations etc placed on them.

I would never accuse you specifically of that.. That is why I say Panthers fans. I should have said SOME. but it's far to many for a guy who is doing so much for this team.

Ahh ok.  I agree with you actually, and some of your predictions are in fact turning out to be true now that the team is winning, people still seem intent on deconstructing every aspect of Cam's game at a weird level.

this is the most childish/homer-ish...?/nonsensical statement I've read. And the one I've been trying to educate all of you on for the past 45 minutes....

just because we are in the playoffs does NOT mean magically Cam's mechanics are perfect overnight. They still need work. Thats all the OP was saying. THAT IS IT. no he doesnt suck. Yes every QB has problems.

And yes we are in the playoffs. Would you now like every single thread to be titled:

"YAYYY WE'RE IN!!!!"

or

"GOLLY GEE!!! I SURE AM PUMPED!"

?? would that work better for you? What do you think the panthers work on this week? Does RR tell them "WOOHOO! WE DID IT!!!!" or does he say: "This is what we need to work on before the Atl game......" hmmmmmm i wonder

sigh once again you are missing the damn point. How about not talking about cam's mechanics at all and just accepting it as something he will work on? Why do people have to constantly talk about cam negatively after he had an amazing game winning drive. How about accepting the good cam that comes with the bad cam? Jesus christ is that hard to understand?

haha. Go outside, get some fresh air bud.

Cam's great, I wear the guy's name on my back. Immensely proud of him and the team, that's why I want the best for them. He's better than Andrew Luck, that's why I never mentioned him. I am also black, which makes the racist accusations awkward. I hope that cleared things up a bit for you. Let me know if I need to dumb it down a few more grade levels.

If you are, you're probably a confused one at best. I never accuse people of racism, but I do accept that people have their own preference.

I'm in utter shock right now. This has to be the saddest argument I've seen in a long LONG time. This is almost as terrible as a "Growl" post. dear god, I feel sorry for anyone who tries to have an adult conversation with you. You keep on telling me which players ESPN has it in for, and tell me what ever higher-up at CBS is thinking. Meanwhile, I'll just stick with my original statement of "I love Cam. So happy hes our QB, just hope he works on his mechanics". Im so sorry to have offended you in any way. Im walking away slowly...... lets not do anything irrational...... please tell me more about the downfall of RGIII.

... hold on. Ill grab a drink and a blanket. Then feel free to begin

the entire point of this thread (IN FACT ITS LITERALLY THE TITLE) is simply: "why hasnt this happened yet?"

haha wow are you overly dramatic.

I know Cam will continue to work on his mechanics, as he always has done.  So I'm not worried.  I don't need to hope for it like you, since I already see it happening, and I haven't a clue why he'd stop now. :)

so what evidence do you have that Cam isn't working on it, and it hasn't improved?

My point exactly.  one in which I stated.... idk.... 8 times maybe. thank you all. Took many of you a while to get there, but i knew you would all use logic and reasoning at some point.  :)

take care.

Maybe you should ask him (though we all know his/her self admitted contradictions on the subject), does he think Andrew Luck, Ryan Tannehill, Matthew Stafford, and even Russell Wilson or Colin Kaepernick (yeah, lets throw the last two in their for balance/as an olive branch) are perfect, when they're all being torn apart by analyst this week after poor showings??

Then you should ask him; "what are their respective fan bases saying about them, particularly, Luck, Tannehil, and Stafford (and doesn't include any vitriol or constant pontification if/when they do), compared to the talking heads"?

They probably didn't even notice. However, Cam, and now even his Quarterbacks coach (come again/WTF) are miraculously scrutinized here, after producing an incredible come from behind victory; albeit after a poor showing. But that's football. Many top teams and QB's win that way (especially playing good teams), except for what many Panther fans believe, apparently. Shrugs/Go Figure!!

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.
    • Start posting in threads in the other forums instead of just creating threads. No one comes over here so you aren't starting conversations.  Get your ass up to 100 posts. It's not that hard. Don't create 100 posts. Contribute to conversations.
    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
