Chiefs/Colts Game Thread

As someone that went to almost every Stanford game Luck played in, I've probably watched him more than anyone here, maybe not as a pro but in general. Hell I have an Andrew Luck Stanford bobble head on my desk at work. I'm a big Luck fan and think he will "eventually" be one of the best in the league. When I was at lunch a few years ago and heard on espn that Luck was going to stay at Stanford when we had the first pick I was PISSED.

So it doesn't make me a Luck hater or Cam nut hugger when I say he gets too much hype with where he is at in his career currently, and he is a big reason why the Colts are down big in this game. If they come back, I'm sure he'll be a big reason why too. But he's not playing great right now.

Edit: three picks lol

Yeah that is fine. Luck is sucking, everyone can see this. But some of these guys are butthurt because Mayock likes Luck more than Cam. Some of these guys are butthurt because the white guy is getting attention and apparently nobody likes the black guy. (which is not true).

The motivation behind their criticism is vile. And they are going after Panthers fans and somehow trying to say Panther fans hate Cam because Luck is sucking. If that is confusing you, it confuses me too. It's all a bit twisted.

Cam = cant throw for sh*t in 70% of games

Huddles reaction: "DAMN IT LAFELL!! YOU HAD YOUR HANDS ON IT!!"

Luck throws one pass a foot behind TY. still an easy catch.

Huddles reaction: "HAHAHAGAHA THIS GUY SUCKS!!!"

IMO when people place all the blame on B-Fell they are wrong... same in this case... you can't blame WR's for not always bailing QB's out... though you want you WR to be good enough to bail your QB out of bad throws...

If Boldin didn't bail flacco out in the playoffs last year they don't win a title and Flacco doesn't get paid. Either way they were still bad throws.

Hahahhahahah awwww someone mad? Dont cry too hard kid. Ull be right about something eventually

I'm a grown man. You are the one that is acting like a little bitch on a message board, crying about everyone that doesn't buy in to the Luck hype machine.

It's ok to admit Luck is having a tough game. It doesn't mean you'll get your Luck fan card taken away.

    • Of course, everyone has film. That is probably fresh in their mind though. Our games with them are big examples of why they are in  the CB market so hard.   It is the study they do getting ready for the games.  Preparing to play against is a little different than just analyzing film in scout mode. Deeper dive. Then you are analyzing post game too.  This goes to why players often change teams but stay in the division. The opponents know each other on a higher level.  Plus if you lost to us, you used to get fired. Now you have to trade your first round pick. Moving up on the world.
    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
