2003/2004 vs. 2013/2014

hard to pick a better season. the '03 with jake taking over was special. robbed of a super bowl and a sure mvp.

this season, we all know about the 1-3 start but the thing that gets me the most is that new orleans had a 3 game lead in the division. you usually do not over come that. for us to not only over come but to win the division is extremely gratifying. we had so much to over come this season, "fire rivera", trade/cut cam". now both are solid in their positions. this team could have truly just thrown in the towel but as in years past, they kept fighting til the end. i was, like i know most of you were, just devastated by the arizona game. should have been the nail in the coffin but this team truly defines "keep pounding". only losing one game since early october is unreal. whatever may happen next weekend, win or lose it was season for the ages and the playoffs will only add to the lore. thanks for the ride guys!

How about we discuss this after the season's over??

But in terms of Regular Season, I'm going with 2003. Sooo many close games that year... the blocked extra point against TB! we won that game in OT... the Week 1 comeback against Jax and #17's debut...the OT win in Indy...OT win vs the Saints...

We'll see what happens with this team, but it'll be hard to beat that magical run in '03/'04...

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
