I believe I was the one who stated that Luck would have never allowed himself to play on a team like the Panthers. It's clear neither the team nor fans would have done anything to promote his image well seeing how much you folks believe the QB and coaches should always be the team's scape-goats. But i do believe with the media hype and the fact that he's "traditional," QB those who hate Cam just might have treated Luck slighter better him, but not by much. I honestly doubt the endless scrutiny surrounding Cam would be the same with Luck but he would be criticized. Many of you on here are extremely cynical.

 

Luck is a traditional QB. Cam is dynamic.

 

Both are great in their own way.

 

Why do Carolina fans keep holding grudges over other young QBs not name Cam. Let it go.

It pains me to say it, but I still think Brady has the best arm in the NFL. There is no other QB I would rather have than him on 4th and 8th when a touch pass is needed to convert on downs. Cam needs to work on his "touch" to be considered in this category.

Sherman just gained a lot of my respect.  I thought those were fair and accurate comments.  Maybe a bit homerism with Luck and Wilson but he is pretty accurate on his assessments.

 

I think the point on Manning is, is he is his own offensive coordinator.  Most QB go with the offensive coordinators game plan.  Manning probably has as much input as the OC.

 

He is amazing football smart.
