George Zimmerman to fight....The Game!?

Maybe not professional fighting experience, but I am sure as a kid in Compton and on the streets as a drug dealer he has been in and has seen his fair share of brawls. Obviously a very different thing than a boxing match in a ring with gloves, but I'm willing to bet he has some experience throwing punches.

Yeah, that means nothing. Street gang fights are no different than backyard brawls between teenagers. Two idiots running their mouth, shoving, and charging after each other and slinging haymakers recklessly. And you know what happens when you do that against a trained martial arts fighter? They break your arm or you wake up in the 4th grade.

It has nothing to do with the game being "tough." He doesn't have the skills or knowledge to take on a skilled and trained fighter. If the past reports are accurate and Zimmerman truly is a former boxer and martial arts student, he'd most likely make the game look like a complete fool.

Go watch some early 90s UFC. Middle aged, average build guys like Zimmerman who were trained martial arts guys beat the poo out of the strong, muscular "tough" guys.

Yes. He was also reportedly a black belt in mixed martial arts. The Game is much bigger and stronger but he doesn't have any fighting experience whatsoever. He might wanna be careful what he wishes for.

Well if he could beat a jacked 6 foot 4 dude in the ring, then his entire testimony is a farce(as if we didn't already know that).

You make Zimmerman sounds like Chuck Norris. If that is the case how did a 15 year old boy beat him to the point where he feared for his life. I probably don't want to go there.

That's all true but this wouldn't be a mixed martial arts bout.

It would be a boxing match. I'm pretty confident the Game can take a punch and can throw his own decently as well. He certainly has the reach advantage is an athlete as evidenced by the fact the man was a Division I basketball player. I'm not saying he would dominate the man, I'm just saying I have a feeling the Game can scrap, hold his own, and throw a punch or two as well as take them.

You don't get jumped and beaten from behind in a ring, bro.

I'm  gonna agree with you because i grew up in the hood no formal self defense or training. and have gotten into fights with boxers and a karate black belt and i won a good amount of those fights. fug i beat up the high school star center. It's not always who's the better fighter. Who's crazier? and a one on one street fight is a lot more than throwing haymakers. (i knowthe guy was referring to gang fights but that's not the only fight that happens)

Well we know that didn't happen, since that wasn't even a part GZ's embellished false testimony.

Recall that the defense made a point to bring in his MMA instructor to testify on GZ's fatness and lousy fighting skills to make him look like the victim. BRO

Zimmerman had his day in court and he was acquitted of all charges, bro.

Lol so have you officially backed down from your original stupidity?

OJ was acquitted too, it happens.

Bro, I couldn't care less what happened to Trayvon or what happens with George as a result.

I don't know either one of them nor do I know what exactly happened that night. Neither do you. Your obsession with Zimmerman is borderline sociopathic. You might want to seek counseling, bro.

    • The defense is 28 out of 32 in salary cap allocation for 2025. We have a ton of resources tied up in the offense including the highest paid OL in the league multiple 1st round WR's and multiple recent draft picks across the offense at TE and RB and we have two 1000 yard backs. Bryce and company couldn't get past Tyler Shough and his crew in 2 games. That's all there is to it. You can spin it and put the entire onus on the defense to your heart's desire it doesn't change the fact that this is an OFFENSIVE team now. If you want to argue that we should revert back to a defensive identity as we have been in the past which has brought us success then I will agree with you on that. But as it stands the onus is on the offense because that is where we have invested through the nose. Dave Canales and Bryce Young need to do a hell of a lot better than they have against the rebuilding Saints who without us should only have 2 wins this season.
    • Bryce is not trending up. He is the same QB he has always been. Bottom of the league in most categories.  If Canales thinks he can build a contender with Bryce then he is a bigger idiot then I thought.  Offense next year will have the same issues and be just as inconsistent as it was this year.  We have seen Bryce’a ceiling and it is 175 yards a game and that is not a QB you keep around as your starter. That is barely a backup.
    • Looks like Darnold should have had at least 3 picks. That'll get ugly in the playoffs eventually. Can't deny his physical talent though. You either have that or you don't. Mike Macdonald is a legit coach.
