Was a fan of Delmas when he came out of the draft. He had a solid career, but still very average. Delmas brings attitude but is not very good in coverage. I think he's very similar to Malcolm Jenkins. I'd rather take Jenkins over Delmas due to health.

Ward has spent most of his career on the losing end. If he wants to play for a contender, he'll have to take less.

I think that he would be a great replacement for Godfrey. But I guess we'll have to wait and see if we're going to keep Mitchell and Mikell. Personally, I like Mitchell and Delmas...

Have you seen who they have to re-sign? They'll be fortunate to even have 9-10 million left to spend on free agency  when it's all said and done.

Look at their free agents this off-season. They've got a crapload to re-sign. Of course, they could opt to let half of them go and draft replacements but guys like Shields have been consistent for them.

Since Thompson and those guys started really calling the shots, GB has opted on the side of plug and play. Draft guys to replace guys. That's why they have so much cap now.

I don't think they'd sign someone like Ward, because I'm sure they think they can just draft to replace shields, and whoever else, and make it work.

From reading this and other threads, I think fans have the NFL confused with thw XFL, whwn.it comes to contracts.
