The asking prices truly are ridiculous across the board for some reason this year...

 

First round picks are typically reserved for superstars or young players on their rookie contracts with untapped potential.  I've never seen so many "solid" players tagged with first round price tags.  It's just dumb.  LOL.

 

Hopefully these teams start coming back down to Earth closer to the deadline.

 

Afflalo is what? 28.  That is not first-round territory.  Take on a bad contract?  Sure.  But, you aren't getting both.

Yeah, but they should realize that just because the draft is deeper doesn't mean the current players they're trying to move are better, lol.  It's a joke man.

Had to rework the trades. So here they are.

Gordon, piston pick, zeller for Afflalo and Nelson.

La gets hendo, sessions, Haywood and Portland pick.

Had to add Zeller to the trade, considering he's young I counted him as one of the picks to Orlando.

I wouldn't do it either but the Piston pick is going to have to go to make any of theses trades work. The Portland pick has really no value at all.

Yeah, if a first round pick has to be used on any of these guys, it's Portland.  I haven't seen any player that would be worth that Detroit pick, outside of maybe Deng, K. Thompson, or Waiters.

Got word that Charlotte did indeed offer a pick to Philly.

Gordon and a second round. Heard it's the most significant offer that Philly has got and that Charlotte isn't willing to offer a first. Talks are advanced and still ongoing.

Man, I still don't really like it though.  Even if they take that deal, I feel like there are better players to be had with that package, so I'm hope that deal presents itself sooner rather than later.

if we get Turner for Gordon + 2nd rd pick, i will be happy.. but not if we use our PORT pick

it's a much more reasonable deal, but still...  I think we could get more for that package.  Philly doesn't even need BG's contract like other teams do.
