kinda sucks. he has Crown Royal lined up for 18 races next year. i fuging hate that overrated, overpriced crap.

they are still looking for sponsors for the rest of the races. the beginning of the end, methinks. oh well, it was a good ride.

Economy, I assume? I know construction's struggling and I'd assume as a result that power tool purchases are as well.

Still a shame- the 2 were a good match and when I've thought of one, I've thought of the other

SUcks to hear.

I do know that DeWalt has struggled badly for the past 2 years. They ended up laying off a crazy amount of people since last year.

Anyone ever been up to Roush Racing? Dewalt has put alot of money into that place. Back in the day, when I sold Dewalt, I used to get invited to private dinners over there, where Dewalt would put on a great show, the it followed up with a private tour of the garage.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
