I have to disagree with some of the comments here. Kids are just as much fans as adults of this game and this team. Both my sons grew up watching Steve Smith. Both only wanted Steve Smiths jerseys, never anyone else. I think this shows how it affects all fans from old to young. It shows that not only does this affect adults with Steve's release but also kids. Most people outside of Carolina if asked for one player who was on the roster (Prior to Cam) everyone would say Steve Smith.

A friend of mine told me I'm not a true Panther fan because I had no emotion to Steve's release. I took this little girls mind set instead. I am upset but can't do a damn thing about it so I'll just continue to pull for the rest of the team I know and love.
