Considering he has been clean for 2 years, an unguaranteed, incentive-laden contract is the way to go. I would give him a deal that goes up in value in years 2 and 3, for example.

First year, $2m + incentives

Second year $4m + incentives

Third year $5 m

The only thing worse then having McNutt as your number 1 receiver, is having him as your number one receiver and 30% of the fanbase being excited and supportive about it.

I'm confident that even Gettleman doesn't want him starting, he's just taking awhile looking for starters to put in front of him.

Said it a couple times on here before already. Will say it again. Without the off the field issues, Kenny Britt is the top WR in this year FA. The man is a stud and a true no1 WR. Can single handedly take over a game.
