Pierre Desir worked out for Panthers today

id love this guy in the 4th. prob will be drafted in the 3rd though.

I'm not big on d2 prospects (yes I know, rice, romo, flacco, woodhead etc.) However, if this is who we pick, I've got no problem with it. No doubt there is some potential in him.

Flacco and Romo Rogers-Cromartie, Kurt Warner, Dexter Coakley, Larry Hand, Jerry Rice.

They all went to D1-AA schools. Lindenwood is D2.

I am wondering why some think he will be good?

 

He's big and rangy, almost identical in size to Sherman (Sherman is 6'3 / 195, Desir is 6'2 / 206). He's incredibly physical. I mean, just dominate at the line of scrimmage.

Rang compares him to DRC, but says he has to work on his technique a lot because he's overly reliant on his athleticism and that won't cut it in the NFL.
